The SBBCollege admissions team is ready to help students through the entire application process; from career planning to identifying the right program to help to achieve those aims. Our admissions associate will go over the College's admissions requirements and guide each student through the process.
During a one to one session, an admissions associate will meet with students to help them to create a clear career and learning path. Our admissions associate will match their interests, goals and current situation with our available degree or job training programs.
SBBCollege strives to make applying to college easy. There are a few basic requirements for admission to the College. Each applicant must:
For students without a diploma, some SBBCollege campuses have a GED Preparation Course.
Our academic and career training programs help prepare students for career success, and for many, one of the first steps towards career success is earning a GED. For students without a GED we offer a program that prepares students for all five areas of the GED exam – reading, writing, math, science and social studies. With its small-class setting, the course allows students to experience more individual attention. Meeting a few days a week, students are prepared to sit for the GED examination in just a few months.
Along with instruction in core subject areas, the GED preparation program includes test-taking strategies. These strategies help our students understand the format and timeframe of the GED exam, and provide a way to approach each type of test question, including essay questions.
After successfully earning the GED, students are eligible to enroll in SBBCollege’s academic and career training programs.
To help students succeed in college, SBBCollege has implemented steps to help incoming students improve their skills in the basics: math, English, and reading. During the enrollment process, most incoming students are given an assessment to determine their level of academic skill. The results of this assessment are used to determine next steps in each student's academic journey prior to admission to the College.
SBBCollege wants every student to graduate and be successful in their career. The College requires each applicant to demonstrate the capacity and sincere interest and motivation to achieve his or her goals as determined by a review committee at each SBBCollege campus.
