With an associate's degree in early childhood education, students can pursue careers with preschools, day cares or home-based childcare facilities. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) predicted that employment opportunities for preschool teachers could grow by 25% up to 2020 (, and that during the same time period, job prospects for childcare workers could rise by 20%.

Graduates of the SBBCollege Associate’s Degree Early Childhood Education are prepared for a variety of careers working with children, though they need to be aware that many teaching positions require further education.
