In 1982, SBBCollege opened the Bakersfield campus in the heart of the southern San Joaquin Valley. Like its neighboring SBBCollege campuses, it quickly became a local college favorite and has remained that way over the years. Recently, SBBCollege broke ground on a beautiful new Bakersfield campus at 5300 California Avenue. The new technology-rich campus offers computer and medical labs, a learning resource center, and professional spa-like wellness studios for massage therapy and fitness training. The new facility, the biggest of all SBBCollege locations, is destined to be one of Kern County’s best and brightest college campuses.
SBBCollege in Bakersfield serves the communities of Bakersfield, Porterville, Delano, Ridgecrest, Tehachapi, Shafter, Wasco, Taft, Arvin, California City, Lamont, McFarland, Lake Isabella, Frazier Park, Earlimart, Pixley, Mojave, Bodfish, and other nearby areas.
SBBCollege’s new Bakersfield campus is conveniently located on California Avenue a few blocks north of Stockdale Highway and can be reached easily by bus on Golden Empire Transit (GET) routes 9 and 15.
