Santa Barbara - often called the American Riviera because of its beautiful beaches, stunning mountain backdrop and near-perfect Mediterranean climate - is a historic city on Southern California’s Pacific coast.

Santa Barbara promises a real taste of "Old California" with its historic Spanish-style architecture, Mission and museums. Other popular attractions include the world-renowned Stearns Wharf waterfront development.

Ours is a traditional college community: big enough to offer a real “buzz’ and a rich cultural experience with theater, concerts and festivals, yet small enough to provide a secure and focused learning environment.

But it’s the Californian lifestyle that will really make the difference. It’s about the outdoor life: enjoying the ocean, the mountains and the weather. It’s about having fun and making friends in a relaxed, cosmopolitan setting that still manages to be bursting with energy and entrepreneurial spirit.

Where better to enjoy the moment and prepare for the future?
