Santa Barbara Business College's Career Services Department offers a variety of student support services in order to help students secure employment. At Santa Barbara Business College, student job placement is important, and it is the School's goal to ensure the successful placement of each graduate. The College will make every effort to assist students in developing job-obtaining skills such as resumé and cover letter creation, interviewing skills and appropriate post-interview follow-up procedures. Career Services' primary objective is to obtain and develop job opportunities for graduates to achieve maximum placement satisfaction. For the last 115 years, Santa Barbara Business College has prided itself on its student support services and for having a well-known and respected job placement history and will continue to deliver success to graduates and the local business community!
Santa Barbara's Externship program also allows students to gain practical, real-world experience - while they're still in school! Externships not only give students extra confidence in their training and in themselves, the work experience can give graduates a real edge on the competition as they begin their new careers.
Santa Barbara Business College's Career Services staff works to ensure each graduate's continued career advancement. The College offers free, personalized employment services. Whenever, for any reason, our graduates need employment assistance, the Career Services staff is ready to help! Through a network of member institutions, the College is able to assist in locating positions locally, regionally and nationally. Our commitment to our graduates provides that the student support services are made available as often as necessary to obtain a position that has the "right fit" desired by each graduate.
